Is there an extra charge for night check-in?

No. The price is the same at any time of day — from 400 ₽. No surcharges for night or holiday check-in.

What if my train is 2-3 hours late — will my bed still be there?

Yes, on one condition: call the admin and update your ETA. We hold the bed for the entire booked period as long as we stay in touch. Going silent for 4+ hours at full occupancy is the only case when the bed may be given to another guest.

I arrived at 3 a.m. and the intercom did not work — what do I do?

Call +7 (920) 775-00-11 — the admin will open the door with a key from the inside. Backup option: knock on the reception window (ground floor, to the right of the entrance).

Can I check in at night with a child or a pet?

With a child — yes, any time of day. With a pet — only by agreement 24 hours in advance and only into private rooms, if any are free. Pets are not allowed into shared dorms due to guest allergies.

What to say to the night administrator on late arrival

First call — one hour before arrival (around 22:00)

"Hello, this is Ivan, I have a bed booked for tonight. Driving from the M2 highway, arriving around 23:30-00:00. Already had dinner, no need to cook, going straight to sleep." The admin locks your ETA — the bed will not be given away, the key is ready.

Second call — 5-10 minutes before the door

"Ivan, pulling up, will be there in 7 minutes. Where can I park?" The admin points to a free spot in the courtyard, walks down to the lobby, prepares your guest card and key. By the time you press the intercom, they are already at the door.

If you are more than an hour late — warn ahead

"Ivan, I promised midnight, but I am stuck in traffic entering Tula, will arrive at 01:30." The bed is held, the admin switches to other tasks and waits for the third call. Do not go silent — if you disappear for 3 hours without contact at full occupancy, your bed may be given to another guest.

At the door — passport and payment, no small talk

Magnit and Rigla — what to grab before night check-in

Meals are not included in the price — but 3-5 minutes on foot from the hostel you will find a supermarket and a 24-hour pharmacy where you can pick up water, a light snack, and just-in-case medicine. A short list below that saves you two get-ups in the middle of the night.

Magnit supermarket — 3 minutes from the hostel, open until 23:00 (city centre branches until 24:00)

Grab a 0.5-1 L water bottle (there is a cooler in the room, but at night you want your own), a yoghurt or a syrnik — a "top-up" after a long ride. Bread, cheese, and a tomato give you a hostel-kitchen dinner for 150-200 rubles. Avoid crinkly chips and canned soda — you cannot open them in the dorm, and the kitchen is cold at night.

Rigla pharmacy — 5 minutes on foot, 24 hours

After a heavy roadside dinner at a fast-food stop, heartburn often hits — grab something for bedtime (Rennie, Gaviscon, Maalox). For back pain after a long bus ride — a warming patch. If you arrived with a cold — nasal drops and paracetamol. Searching for all this in a shared dorm at night is a bad idea, you will wake up the whole room.

What NOT to buy at night

Alcohol — night sales are banned in Tula Region from 22:00 to 08:00 (Regional Law 785-ZTO). Meat, fish, or dumplings — you cannot cook them in the hostel kitchen at night (quiet hours 23:00-07:00, the stove is loud). Ground coffee — we have a free capsule coffee machine in the morning.
