Hostel for Groups — Convenient, Fast, Affordable

We accommodate teams from 5 to 20+ people — with documents and no overpayment

Travelling to Tula as a group and don't want to scatter across different hotels? Hostel "Myagko i Tochka" is a venue built for full-size groups: a school class on a museum trip, a sports team at a tournament, out-of-town wedding guests, an office team on a corporate weekend, a guided adult tour along the Golden Ring. We accommodate everyone compactly — from one room for 5 people to the entire second floor for a party of 20. One "team leader", one shared bill, no individual contracts with every group member.

This is proper placement engineering, not a vague "we'll find some beds". We draw out the room map in advance: who sleeps where, where the shared luggage goes, where you gather in the morning before leaving, who comes to reception for keys. Payment goes through the team leader (cash, Mir card, bank transfer from a legal entity), the whole group is checked in within 15 minutes in a single flow. Meals are not included in the price — you cook on the shared kitchen or shop at the "Magnit" supermarket around the corner.

How We Accommodate Groups and Teams

Work teams: construction, installation, renovation

We accommodate construction crews, electricians, fitters, and finishing workers. Multi-bed rooms — keep your whole team together. Kitchen for self-catering, washing machine for work clothes. Parking for work vehicles. Documents for your company — receipts, invoices, certificates. Check-in available at any time of day or night.

Sports teams and tourist groups

We welcome sports teams for training camps and competitions, as well as tourist groups visiting Tula. The Kremlin is just 800 m away, museums are nearby. Shared kitchen for group meals. Wi-Fi for staying in touch with organizers. For groups of 10+ — we help with logistics and room arrangements.

Right next to the hostel is a "Magnit" supermarket (3 minutes on foot): the team leader can stock up on supplies for the entire group in a single trip — water, snacks, breakfasts for 20 people in one basket. "Rigla" pharmacy is 5 minutes away with everything for a group first-aid kit — plasters for the sports team, painkillers and activated charcoal after the corporate party, allergy relief for kids on the excursion. Meals are not included in the price — but everything an organizer needs is within walking distance.

Business savings: 3—5 times cheaper than a hotel

A team of 10 for one month: hostel — from 120,000₽, hotel — from 450,000—600,000₽. Savings — 300,000—480,000₽. Plus — kitchen (no restaurant expenses), Wi-Fi, parking, laundry. Bank transfer, closing documents, accommodation agreement.

Group placement scheme: 10, 15 or 20 people

Not "we'll fit you in somehow", but a precise room-by-room plan before you even arrive. Below are three ready scenarios for the most common group sizes. Prices are shown at the base rate (400₽/bed); the group discount grows with the number of rooms:

Group size Room layout Price per night Group discount Team leader on reception Where they eat
10 people 2 rooms of 5 beds each (adjacent, same corridor) ≈ 4,000₽ (400 × 10) −10% for booking both rooms 1 leader, hands over passports in one stack Shared kitchen — 2 subgroups eat in turns
15 people 3 rooms of 5 beds each (2 adjacent + 1 opposite) ≈ 6,000₽ (400 × 15) −12% + free access to the shared storage room 1 leader + 2 "room captains" for communication Shared kitchen — we set a 3-shift stove schedule
20 people Entire second floor — 4 rooms with own bathroom ≈ 8,000₽ (400 × 20) −15% + the whole floor's shared area reserved 1 leader, floor closed to outside guests Shared kitchen as priority — a single table for 20

How to read the table: price and discount refer to beds per night, meals not included. "Team leader on reception" is the only person we deal with about check-in, keys and payment; everyone else arrives as ready residents. Need a non-standard layout (say, 12 people: 1 room of 5 + 1 of 7)? Call us and we'll arrange it manually.

Who visits us in groups most often

Over the years a portrait of a "typical group" has emerged. Below are five scenarios we have already fine-tuned placement for. If your case is similar — we know what to offer:

1

School class on a Tula excursion

A class of 15-25 children plus 2-3 teachers, an overnight stay after the Kremlin and the Gingerbread Museum. Kids are placed by gender in separate rooms, teachers in a room of 3-4 by the entrance (so they can watch the corridor). Quiet hours from 22:00 per the logbook.

2

Sports team at a tournament

Junior teams at all-Russian championships, wrestlers, judo athletes, young footballers with their coach. We keep the whole team in one room of 8, the coach nearby. We help arrange an early breakfast at 6:00 before leaving for the stadium.

3

Wedding guests from out of town

Relatives of the bride or groom came for 1-2 nights when the couple has already run out of hotel space. Placed compactly in 1-2 rooms, so guests can head to the banquet and come back from the restaurant together. Round-the-clock reception — we don't watch the clock.

4

Office team on a corporate weekend

A department from the office arrives in Tula for team-building with quests, a gingerbread workshop, a trip to Yasnaya Polyana. 8-12 people for 2 nights. We reserve 2-3 rooms and allow lively gatherings in the common area until 23:00. We issue closing documents for the company.

5

Guided adult tour group

A travel agency or a self-organised group aged 55+ on the "Tula — Yasnaya Polyana — Kulikovo Field" route. 10-18 people with a guide. Placed in 2-3 per room, the guide separately. We help with the morning transfer to the coach and store the shared luggage during the day in our storeroom.

5 tips for the organizer of a group of 5-20+

If you're leading a group for the first time, here are five points that will save your nerves the day before arrival and at check-in:

1

Collect passports in advance into one envelope

Not "let everyone show it at reception" — that stretches check-in to an hour. Collect passports in the group chat 3 days in advance and bring them as one stack. We scan everyone in 15 minutes and hand the documents back to the leader.

2

Agree on a single bill before arrival

Decide: is the organization paying (then we need a company ID and email for the invoice/certificate), are you chipping in cash at the desk, or splitting via transfers to the team leader. We accept different payment methods for one group, but better to sort this BEFORE, not in the lobby.

3

Draft a room map and post it in the chat

"Room 2 — Ivanov, Petrov, Sidorov; Room 3 — Kozlova, Smirnova, Morozova." Send it to us a day before arrival — we'll print and post it at the entrance. Nobody runs around asking "where are my roommates", keys don't get mixed up.

4

Buy supplies before check-in

"Magnit" is 3 minutes away — grab a trolley for the whole group at once: a case of water, bread, cheese, vegetables, tea. You cook on the shared kitchen yourselves. Meals are not included in the accommodation price and are not ordered through us — self-catering saves the group 5-10 thousand roubles over a weekend.

5

Warn us about late arrivals and early departures

Is part of the group arriving on the "Lastochka" train at 23:40 and another part leaving at 5:20 in the morning? Tell us in advance — we'll arrange a night attendant and prepare the keys. We have a round-the-clock reception, no one gets "left outside till morning".

FAQ Frequently Asked Questions

Booking 2 rooms at once (a group of 10+) — a 10% discount off the base rate of 400₽/bed, so from 360₽/bed. A group of 15 (3 rooms) — 12%, ~352₽/bed. A group of 20 (entire second floor, 4 rooms) — 15%, ~340₽/bed plus free reservation of the shared area for your group. The discount is applied automatically when the booking is confirmed — no promo codes needed.

Yes, that's the standard scheme. The team leader makes a single payment for everyone — cash at the desk, Mir card via the terminal with no fee, bank transfer from a legal entity, or a card transfer from a private person. We don't take individual prepayments from each participant. If part of the group is paying itself, we can split the receipt between 2-3 payers — just mention it when booking.

Not a problem. The main part of the group checks in at the standard time (after 14:00), and the latecomers are welcomed anytime — our reception operates 24/7. Their keys can be passed on by the team leader, or we'll hand them over on presentation of a passport. Payment for these people is due on check-in — we don't hold bookings hostage. Just let us know the exact number of late arrivals and their time so the night attendant is ready.

Shared luggage — performance costumes, sports gear, boxes with conference handouts, excursion props — goes into a separate locked storeroom. Anything that won't fit in the rooms we take there. Daytime storage (evening check-in but you arrived at 8:00 in the morning) is free. Valuables and documents are best kept with you or in the reception safe.

Yes. The rule is simple: if you book a room in its entirety, all 5 (or 8) beds are yours — we don't place strangers even if there are free beds. For a group of 20 (the entire second floor) the floor is closed to your group only; other guests stay on the 1st floor. This is fixed at booking and stated in the confirmation email.

No, meals are not included in the accommodation price and are not arranged by the hostel. We provide a fully equipped kitchen — stove, microwave, fridge, dishes, kettle — where your group cooks for itself. "Magnit" supermarket is 3 minutes on foot: convenient for stocking up on food for the whole group in one basket. "Rigla" pharmacy is 5 minutes away for a group first-aid kit. For breakfasts and lunches outside the hostel we recommend cafes on Metallistov Street (7-10 minutes on foot).

Yes, a full accounting package: invoice for payment, certificate of services rendered, group accommodation agreement. We work with LLCs, individual entrepreneurs, self-employed and non-profit organizations (schools, sports clubs). Payment — bank transfer against the invoice within 3 banking days after check-in, or prepayment. Documents are handed over on check-in day or sent to email. For staff on business trips — we stamp travel certificates on request.
