Send a coordinator's letter as one PDF 5-7 days before arrival: on organization letterhead, with the coordinator's and volunteers' full names, event dates, and a seal. Discount: 10 % for 3-5 people, 15 % for 6-12. Applies to the whole booking, not only the first night. Without the letter — standard rate from 400 RUB/bed.

Can we wash and dry uniforms — and what does it cost?

Laundry is free: a 7 kg Bosch washer runs 24/7, detergent included. A 12-spot rack dryer and separate boot dryer — free. For a corps of 6+ we give priority: your loads first. Capacity is 3-4 loads a day; plan by shifts so uniforms dry by morning.

Can we hold an evening briefing for volunteers at your hostel?

Yes. For a corps of 6+ we reserve the common lounge for your time (usually 8-11 PM). Round table for 12, a screen for site maps, a power strip with 8 outlets for radios and flashlights. Solid walls, no noise to neighbors. Lounge reservation is free; specify the time when booking.

Do you issue a proof-of-stay certificate for the organization's report?

Yes. Standard hostel-letterhead certificate: check-in/check-out dates, each volunteer's name, nights, amount paid, stamp and manager's signature. One combined for the corps, individual ones on request. Ready in 30 minutes — better ordered the evening before departure. Format: PDF to email or paper.

Is there Wi-Fi to stay in touch with coordinators?

What documents are needed for check-in?

What matters to a volunteer: laundry, dryer, lounge, certificate

Four resources ordinary hotels lack — and we include in the room price at no extra charge:

Uniform laundry — free of charge. A single 7 kg Bosch washing machine runs 24/7. Detergent is on us. Wet, muddy volunteer uniforms after rain, paint work, or grounds cleanup are no problem. For a corps of 6+ we give priority: your corps loads first, other guests after.

Dryer — 12 rack spots plus a floor-level electric dryer. Uniforms dry overnight: hang in the evening, ready by morning. A separate electric dryer for boots — critical after wet weather in the field or forest. Dry boots by morning, no wet feet on shift.

Lounge for briefing. Round table for 12, a screen for site maps or district charts, a power strip with 8 outlets for radios, flashlights, and the coordinator's laptop. For a corps of 6+ we reserve the lounge for your time (evening, 8–11 PM). No one disturbs you, and nothing is audible from adjacent rooms.

Proof-of-stay certificate for the report. Standard hostel-letterhead document: check-in/check-out dates, each volunteer's full name, number of nights, amount paid. Stamped and signed by the manager. Ready on departure day in 30 minutes — the coordinator takes it back and attaches it to the organization's report.

5 rules for a volunteer corps on the road

A short checklist for coordinators, based on dozens of volunteer shifts we have hosted:

Book 5–7 days ahead

Volunteer trips often overlap with big dates (youth forums, May holidays, anniversary of the Battle of Kulikovo) — beds go first. The 15 % corps discount applies to bookings made no later than 5 days before arrival, not on the day of check-in.

Send the coordinator's letter as one PDF

On the organization's letterhead, with the coordinator's full name, volunteer names, event dates, and a seal. One letter for the whole corps, not individual notes. Without the letter the discount does not apply — you pay the standard rate.

Wash uniforms in batches, not all at once

Even with corps priority the machine handles 3–4 loads per day. Split by shifts: early-shift volunteers wash in the evening, night-shift ones wash in the morning. Do not pile everything into one day — the last loads will not dry in time.

Briefings in the lounge, not in rooms

10 people in a 4-bed room means bad acoustics, neighbors hear everything, and you cannot connect a tablet to a screen. The lounge is reserved for your corps in the evening: bring the site map, laptop, and district plan — spread it out, no one disturbs.

Request the certificate the day before departure

Not on departure day when the bus is at the door. Tell the manager the evening before that you need a certificate for the whole corps tomorrow — it is ready in the morning, stamped and signed. You take it and leave on schedule, no delay for the coordinator.
